Leah is an Irish child and is suffering from a very rare and aggressive brain tumor, she lives with her parents Sabrina and Johnny and her 10 year old brother Jordan.
Princess Leah is 6 years old, she is battling a rare brain tumor and has been given an 8% chance of survival, her parents and their families are trying to raise €250,000 for Leah to be given the chance to go overseas for treatment, if needs be and as you can understand as she has such a rare aggressive type of cancer she may need to go for treatment as soon as it is made available to her, so
it is important for us to raise as much money as we can for this treatment.
To date, chemo for our little fighter has not worked. Her operation which took place shortly after diagnosis only allowed a very small piece to be removed hence the reference to "olive size". She has received radiation treatment in St.Luke's Hospital and we now face an anxious wait to determine whether this treatment worked for Princess Leah.
Leah is funny, witty and always smiling despite being so sick. She loves Mrs. Brown and The Simpsons. Her favorite colour is red and she loves anything Hello Kitty. She is a big Kildare supporter and has gone to numerous matches before being struck down with this illness with her parents and brother.
Leah doesn't know she is sick and in fact, thinks she had a bug!
Leah became sick on the morning on 6th November with no prior symptoms and had in fact been in school the previous day as normal. Her family and friends are devastated and have embarked on a massive campaign to try and do everything they possibly can for this beautiful, funny and delightful little girl.
Leah is now sleeping more and more. When awake, you can see the glimmer of the old Leah before sickness. The Leah that would make you laugh even by her just looking at you. The little girl who sold free sweets at a family wedding with her cousins and they raised 75e doing so. She can no longer walk and uses a specialised pushchair/stroller/buggy. Her life has changed but we plan on bringer her back to the funny little girl we all knew.

Leah's cancer is very rare and affects 1 in every 4 million children. The doctors are doing all they can however, it is looking very likely that outside treatment will be needed and we must be ready to send her to the UK when the time comes, prior warning may not be given and therefore, funds MUST be there to send to the UK. Fundraising is so very important to us as Leah's family.
